This panel was designed in 800x600 full screen mode and has been tested in 3-d.

I would like to make it clear that though the .bmp is original, many of the gauges have been 'borrowed' from other well known panel designers like; Tony DeBlasio, Andi Jaros, Olav Roenningen and Eric Ernst (to name but a few), as well as those who are best known for making the gauges themselves; like Christian Koegler, HGHB and Chuck Dome. I have re-drawn, re-sized and changed the colour of some gauges and where original ones were required, asked for the help and advice of members of the Freeware Panel Designers Ass' - FPDA - in particular, Andi Jaros, as well as Christian Koegler and Chuck Dome.

So, this is a general THANK YOU to all those who've made freeware panels, for their imagination and their gauges - especially if I've inadvertantly overlooked asking permission! This has not been done intentionally.

Thanks also go to everyone who has provided feedback whilst this was in the making.

DESCRIPTION:

Included in this panel are;

Overhead panel includes 'Seatbelts' and 'No Smoking' switches as well as the airconditioning, light switches (with a 'click' sound) and fuel cut off switches.

Simple GPS (Not acurate to the panel, but adds functionality) can be switched on by a mouse click on the button marked GPS.

Working autobrake gauge.

Andi Jaros' landing gear wind sound gauge which increases the wind noise when the gear is down (actually gets quieter as the speed drops!)

And probably some other stuff that I don't remember.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Using the nav1 selector at the bottom of the panel may trigger the spoiler if you are not careful, you can of course use the selector on the AP panel.

The auto-coordination switch will be included in a subsequent version or update. (Soon).

The rotating course and heading selector knobs on the AP panel indicate + and - wrongly i.e. when the mouse hovers over where you expect + to be displayed, it will appear -....therefore ignore the mouse hints!

INSTALLATIO:

1. Create a new folder called panel.dc10pg in FS98\aircraft\fsconv.
2. Unzip dc10pgpnl1.zip to FS98\aircraft\fsconv\panel.dc10pg.
3. Move the contents of FS98\aircraft\fsconv\panel.dc10pg\gauges to the main FS98\gauges folder.
4. Move the contents of FS98\aircraft\fsconv\panel.dc10pg\sounds to the main FS98\sounds folder. (NOTE: Not aircraft\sounds.)
5. Go to your Aircrafts panel directory for the plane that you want to assign this panel to (ex..\Aircraft\....\panel) and edit the panel.cfg file found there to read ONLY:

[fltsim]
alias=FSFSConv\panel.dc10pg

NOTE: Do not edit the panel.cfg file that comes with
this zip!! Also, use Windows Notepad for edit.

Start the sim and select your plane...the new panel should be there.
